Our First Craft Show!
We just received word that SewTrashy and EndureLife were accepted as vendors to a local Holiday Craft Bazaar! This is our first show, very exciting… and a little nerve-racking! We have so much to do in a short amount of time. I am a bit stressed (in a good way, if that’s possible). I have no idea where to even begin, but I know we’ll get it done! Guess I better get started… Any tips or advice? I’m all ears!

A Gocco, man do I want a Gocco. Maybe for Christmas. I’m definitely not an expert on Craft Fairs, but here are my tidbits in no particular order
Practice setting up your display at home before you go. That way, you won’t have to rearrange stuff too much once you get there.
Get help. You may need someone to double-park etc.
Display: Go through your house and see what kind of pretty baskets, dishes, trays etc. you already own that you can use to display your wares.
I use picture frames for pricing information. Before every fair the family pictures are taken out of the frame and the item price goes in.
Get some freebie business cards from Vistaprint. I use them as price tags.
If you have time, check out another craft fair or in your case some stationary stores to steal some display ideas. If you search for craft fair on Flickr there are a ton of pictures of different displays.
If you have leftover Halloween candy bring it as a giveaway
I have a picture and a list of all the supporting type of stuff I took to the last fair on my blog under craft fair tools. http://www.craftevolution.com/?p=244
Have fun!! Let me know how it went. Take lots of pictures
