Wildcard Wednesday :: Snowmageddon 2010

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Maybe this post should be “Whiteout Wednesday” instead! I’m sure no matter where you live you’ve heard about our Snowstorms here in the D.C./Baltimore area. It’s almost unbelievable how much it has been snowing here since Friday afternoon. The roads and sidewalks were cleared just in time for this new blizzard today. As much as it disrupts the flow of day to day life, I wouldn’t change it! It’s so beautiful. Really, just lovely. These photos are from this past weekend where we accumulated around 26 inches of snow where we live. Photos start from Friday evening.

So far today, we have new snow of about 8-10 inches, and it won’t stop until this evening! Complete whiteout at times with wind gusts at 30-40+ mph. Amazing!

I’m Alive!

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Hello!! The past month has been insanely busy, and the next month is just as crazy! I can’t wait until the summer hits, then there will be a bit more down time for making and relaxing. That will be nice. But, for now… I am squeezing in posts where I can!! Here are a couple shots from the recent Cherry Blossoms blooming all over the area. They were so beautiful although, they didn’t stick around very long. I’m so happy we were able to not only enjoy them down in the city, but quite a bit of them bloomed right in our neighborhood! So pretty. I can’t wait for next year!
